Band information
Elektric Dynamite is a Melbourne band that plays 80s metal and hard rock, with pseudonyms adopted from the 80s film Top Gun. After forming in 2007, the band recorded a limited-edition EP in 2009 with producer Roman Koester and went on to do support slots with a disparate group of bands like Blessed by a Broken Heart, The Red Shore, Galvatrons and LA Guns over the next year and a half before going on a national tour with Thy Art is Murder. In mid-2011 the band's debut full length was released.
Maverick announced he was leaving the band in April 2012.
