Band Information

Intorment Black was a symphonic black/doom metal band from Sydney which existed under various names and musical guises since 1997. Originally a two-piece featuring Chris on bass and Jay Taylor (guitar, keys) and known as Supremacy, the band eventually became Intorment Black with the addition of drummer Dan Nahum and vocalist Joss Separovic (later to join Infernal Method). Joss left before their first album was recorded. After mid-2000 the line-up solidified, though Chris moved to guitar when Taylor left in late 2002 and Henry Lauer joined the band as bass player. James is also a member Forlorn Suffering (as was Taylor for some time). Nahum was also in Tears of Seraphim and he and Lauer are now with both Ironwood and Sword Toward Self.
