Band information

Stitches was a band from the Sunshine Coast, Queensland who formed in late 1999. The band was formed by Jeff Horder, John Keen and Beau Deeley and developed a sound described as sci-fi/trance/chunk.

Stitches released their EP "Skin Crawl Peak" in early 2001. Mid-2001 saw the inclusion of Jethro Whitfield on bass. The last performance for this line-up took place in December 2001.

Stitches reformed in November 2005 featuring Deeley, Horder and Barry Snook. This line-up saw Stitches take a heavier direction than previously, playing psychedelic, sci-fi, industrial death metal. The band recorded a demo in early 2008.

Stitches played a number of shows on the Sunshine Coast and in Brisbane before disbanding in mid 2009. A notable aspect of Stitches' performances were the animated visuals created by Beau Deeley which were projected over the band.

John Keen has gone on to create the progressive metal band Sub Inc. Beau Deeley has formed Malignant Divinity and Transdimensional.
