Band information
Troldhaugen is a band playing a unique combination of Scandinavian folk music, extreme metal and progressive influences. A full-length album was planned for 2010 but the band later announced that the recording would instead be a seven-track EP. Their debut EP was released on October 29, 2010 to coincide with their second live performance. After occasional forays into the live realm during the next couple of years, Ramshackle appeared mid-2012 and early the following year Troldhaugen supported Alestorm and Moonsorrow. In early 2014 they released a version of ABBA's "Gimme, Gimme, Gimme" as a video single and supported Gloryhammer.
