Band information

Monkey Oath are a 4-piece outfit based in Abbotsbury and are known for turning heads with vibrant tensions of nu-metal fused with solid chunks of brutally driven hardcore. They began jamming as a band during early 2004, and since then have performed at venues such as Collingwood Hotel, Hard Rock Cafe and the Legend Hotel.

The band released their debut 6-track demo in mid 2005 but shortly after parted ways due to musical differences. Since the seperation, Monkey Oath have recorded a cover of the Rolling Stones song "Satisfaction" (2006) followed by a reunuin show at the University of Western Sydney (late 2007). There has been no talk since and the band remains officially over.
