Headmess formed in 1996 and originally played speedy death metal but over time their style changed toward a more groove-laden, riff-heavy modern metal sound like [[Cryogenic]]. Their long-awaited debut EP was issued in mid-2001, yet despite a few appearances at events such as [[Blood Lust]], Headmess disappeared.
